Abstract

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed intersection improvements at State Route 154 and Marion Beavers and Willis Road in Coweta County, Georgia. Archaeological field investigations took place in the afternoon of July 1, 2002. Two isolated historic period artifacts were recovered - one (IF1) on the southwestern side of the intersection between Willis Road and SR 154 and the other (IF2) on the northeastern side of this intersection. The isolated finds have no research potential and no further archaeological work is recommended for this intersection.
