On October 31 2002, New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed 1-75/Jodeco Road interchange improvements in Henry County, Georgia. The study area consists of the reconfiguration and reconstruction of the existing interchange and bridge as well as additional work on cross street intersections and the relocation of portions of Mt. Olive Road and Feucht Drive. A combination of shovel testing and visual inspection of exposed ground surface was utilized during the survey. No archaeological remains were found and no further archaeological study was recommended.
