Abstract

This Cultural Resource survey was conducted on 114.9 acres of land proposed for exchange with Mrs. Edna Noblin of Atlanta. The parcel is located in Land Lots 240, 241 and 264, District 6, Section 2 of Gilmer County. This is tract C-1793f, compartment 673 of the Toccoa Ranger District. It is accessible to within 1/4 mile of the south property line by private road only. The private road runs through the Holly Rock Horse Farm north of Highway 52. There are numerous old logging roads throughout the property.

The investigation was conducted by the Author and Forester C. Ron Smith of the Forest Supervisor's Office on September 10, 1980.
