Abstract

This is a short form report for negative findings in Henry and Newton counties on the Kellytown Quad. The two previously recorded sites located within the radius of the project area were 9HY310 and 9HY311. The project would replace the aging SR 20 bridge over the South River at Peachstone Shoals, Georgia. The new bridge would be wider than the existing bridge, but would still consist of two lanes. The new bridge would be built immediately south of the existing bridge, while traffic was maintained on the existing bridge. The proposed project area of potential effect (APE) is unchanged from the project area described in the original report, except for the addition of up to 16 m (51.5 ft) total width in non-site area at limited locations along the previously surveyed project length, which remains unchanged (2800 ft).
