Abstract

Addendum to the proposed Lick Creek substation site and transmission line, Putnam County, Georgia were surveyed in order to locate and identify any archaeological sites which may exist within the survey area and to determine whether such sites that exist may be eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. One small site, a probable Archaic collecting camp, was found; it is not judged eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places since the site consisted of only a light surface scatter of artifacts. No other sites were located within the survey area for the proposed Lick Creek substation site and transmission line.
