Abstract

On June 3, 1980, a cultural resource survey was conducted at four locations in the northwestern part of Talbot County, Georgia. This included: A) a water tank site on Pine Mountain adjacent to the Talbot County-Meriwether County line near Manchester; B) a structure site adjacent to State Route 85 (U.S. Alternate 27) approximately 300 meters west of its intersection with State Route 41; C) another water tank site on Oak Mountain (in Oak Mountain Estates) approximately 1000 meters east of State Route 85; and D) a well site in Oak Mountain Estates near the intersection of Peach Blossom Lane and Bluebell Trail.
