Abstract

At Etowah Mounds Archaeological Area in Bartow County, Georgia, an addition to the building housing the museum is planned. The area of proposed development was archaeologically surveyed in January 1980. A program of subsurface testing was conducted for the purpose of identifying archaeological features. None were identified. Development in the area proposed was no problem for archaeology.
