Abstract

The project would replace the aging SR 47 bridges over Headstall Creek south of Avondale, Georgia. The new bridge would be wider than the existing bridge, but would still consist of two lanes. The new bridge would be built in the same location as the existing bridge, while traffic was maintained on a temporary, on-site detour immediately to the north.
