Assessment of Cultural Resources in Amicalola Falls State Park, Dawson County, Georgia

Research and fieldwork indicate that Amicalola State Park has a high potential for prehistoric and historic resources. Some are documented and others are only indicated. The falls themselves contribute to the quantity of probable cultural resources as a landmark which has drawn people of different eras for a variety of purposes.
