The proposed project would consist of traffic signal upgrades at 37 intersections in DeKalb County. The project would improve the overall efficiency and safety of traffic flow due to upgraded traffic signal displays and state-of-the-art traffic signal control equipment and provide better signal coordination through new signal interconnection cable and improve pedestrian safety with improved crosswalk, pedestrian signals and sidewalk ramps where appropriate. All work would take place within existing rights-of-way.
