Abstract

A cultural resources inventory has been completed for the Davenport Stewardship project on Nottely Lake in Union County, Georgia. Thirteen sites were recorded during a survey of 739 acres. Of the thirteen recorded sites, four are prehistoric, seven are historic rock features, and two are historic house sites. Seven sites are recommended as ineligible for the National Register, and six are recommended as unknown and future protection until further intensive testing can determine eligibility.
