Abstract

The project consisted of a Phase I intensive archaeological survey of approximately 600 feet of new alignment along SR/120, between Buford Highway and Hill Street, Duluth, Georgia. The project includes the installation of a traffic light at the proposed intersection of SR 120 and Main Street. The right-of-way of the new alignment varies between approximately 86 feet and 71 feet, and the corridor was investigated with a single transect containing shovel test pit locations investigated at a 30 meter (100 feet) interval.
