The Phase 1 Archaeological Survey of the Davenport Road Extension in Duluth, Gwinnett County, Georgia

The project consisted of a Phase I intensive archaeological survey of approximately 1,200 feet of new alignment extending Davenport Road from the southern end of Hill Street to Buford Highway. The right-of-way of the new alignment is approximately 43 feet in width, and the corridor was investigated with a single transect containing shovel test pit locations investigated at a 30 meter (100 feet) interval.
