The proposed project would consist of traffic signal upgrades at 34 intersections in DeKalb County. The project would improve the overall efficiency and safety of traffic flow due to upgraded traffic signal displays and state-of-the-art traffic signal control equipment and provide better signal coordination through new signal interconnection cable and improve pedestrian safety with improved crosswalk, pedestrian signals and sidewalk ramps where appropriate. Since the first addendum was submitted, required ROW is now needed at 11 intersections and may be needed at Intersection 19. Please see attached sheet for a list of these intersections.
