Abstract

An archaeological survey was conducted of the proposed Big Canoe substation and transmission line route in Pickens County, Georgia, in order to locate and assess the potential National Register eligibility of any sites which may exist within the survey area. No such sites were found; however, further testing along East Branch and Long Swamp Creek is recommended.
