A Cultural Resources Appraisal of Two Tracts in Harris County, Georgia

Abstract

On April 9th and 10th, 1981, cultural resource surveys were conducted at two locations in Harris County, Georgia (Figure 1). The first tract (Figure 2) is near Solomon Grove Church approximately halfway between the communities of Pine Mountain and Whitesville. The-second tract (Figure 3) is immediately east of Georgia highway 103 a short distance north of the Mountain Hill community. Both of these tracts are the sites of proposed water tanks to be constructed by Harris County.
