Abstract

The proposed project would widen SR 23/121 from I-16 to Lytell Street (CS 610). SR 23/121 would be widened to a five lane urban roadway with two 12-foot travel lanes in each direction and a 14-foot two-way left-turn lane. The proposed roadway would have urban shoulders including five-foot sidewalks, curb and gutter, and a two-foot grass strip. The proposed right-of-way tapers in from the I-16 Interchange right-of-way to vary between 100 to 120 feet. The five-lane section ends at Lytell Street by creating a right-turn bay northbound and adding a lane southbound. The remainder of the width is tapered out from Lytell Street to Stripling Street. Area of Potential Effect: The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing and required right-of-way as described on the attached project description sheet.
