This project is an addendum to a previous Phase I archaeological survey conducted in advance of a proposed bridge replacement at SR 83 over Little Sandy Creek (Gardner and Will 2003). This project is located approximately two miles south of Bostwick, GA (Figure 1). The 2003 project corridor extended from approximately 1000 ft north of Little Sandy Creek to approximately 1000 ft south of Little Sandy Creek (Figure 2), and approximately 500 ft west along Flat Rock Road. Due to recent (2006) changes in project configuration, two small additional areas of right-of-way and an easement have been added to the required right-of-way/easement (Figure 3). These additions were surveyed by Brockington and Associates on 17 October 2006.
