Year of Publication

Abstract

This project serves as an addendum to two previous archaeological resources survey conducted in advance of a proposed bridge replacement where SR 154 crosses Bear Creek (Gardner and Jenkins 2003; Sweeney 2006). The new APE is located immediately west of the previous APE, north and south of Bear Creek along SR 154. The APE is defined as the length and width of the project corridor. The total APE is 2460 feet long and varies from 44 to 240 feet wide west of SR 154 and from 44 to 75 feet wide east of SR 154. For this addendum to the project, the APE includes a 370 by 170 to 270 foot wide corridor north of Bear Creek, a 600 by 140 to 340 foot wide corridor south of Bear Creek, and a 1400 by 60 foot wide corridor to the west of the previous investigation by Sweeney (2006) located to the west of SR 154 and both north and south of Bear Creek.
