Abstract

Project Description: A section of SR 8 (US 29) in Lawrenceville, Georgia, will be widened to accommodate the addition of turn lanes and intersection improvements.

Area of Potential Effect: The area of potential effect (APE) consists of a corridor, approximately 4000 feet in length, along SR 8 (US 29) which begins west of the intersection with East Pike Street and terminates southwest of the intersection with Stanley Court, The APE associated with intersection improvements extended down both and SR 124 Paper Mill Road (Figure 5). The right-of-way on SR 8 will be widened from the existing 60 to 70 feet to a new right-of-way of 100 to 150 feet.
