Addendum to Archaeological Resources Survey for the Proposed State Route 74 Bridge Replacement Over CSX Railroad, Coweta County, Georgia

Abstract

This project serves as an addendum to a previous archaeological resources survey conducted in advance of a proposed bridge replacement where SR 74 crosses the CSX railroad approximately 2.5 miles south of Senioa, GA (Hicks and Gardner 2003). The new APE is located immediately north and south of the previous APE. Area of Potential Effect The APE is defined as the length and width of the project corridor. The total APE is 1600 feet long and 100 feet wide west of SR 74 and 100 feet wide east of SR74. For this addendum to the project, the APE includes the two 50 by 100 foot wide corridors at the northern and southern ends of the project corridor.
