Abstract

Revised Project Description for GDOT Project CSSTP-0006-00(902), P.I. 0006902 Douglas County at Chapel Hill Road at Douglas Blvd/Timber Ridge Drive: Project changes since the approved CE: The proposed project length along Douglas Boulevard/Timber Ridge Drive has decreased from 1,150 feet to approximately 1,124 feet. The project is approximately 82 feet longer on Timber Ridge Drive and approximately 108 feet shorter along Douglas Boulevard. The project length along Chapel Hill Road has increased from 2,850 feet to approximately 3,055 feet. The project limits have been extended to the south and now terminate at Stewarts Mill Road/Forest Trail. The proposed project would also construct five-foot sidewalks at the four quadrants of the intersections. The sidewalk would extend along both sides of Chapel Hill Road beginning at its intersection of Douglas Boulevard/Timber Ridge Drive and terminate at its intersection with the 1-20 Eastbound Exit/Entrance ramps. The proposed sidewalk along the south side of Douglas Boulevard has been extended to approximately 400 feet. The proposed sidewalk along Timber Ridge Drive has been extended to approximately 608 feet on the south side and 425 feet on the north side. The amount of required right-of-way decreased from 0.2 acre to approximately 0.18 acre. The temporary easement required has decreased from 0.4 acre to approximately 0.25 acre. The project would now require approximately 0.04 acre of permanent easement. The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing and required right-of-way as described above.
