The proposed project is located at the intersection of State Route (SR) 515 and Antioch Church Road between the cities of Elijay and Jasper, Pickens County, Georgia (Figure 1). The existing typical section consists of two northbound and two southbound 12-foot travel lanes. The proposed project consists of constructing a Restricted Crossing U-Turn (RCUT) intersection, also known as a J-Turn intersection. The typical section would remain the same and all work would take place within existing right-of-way (ROW) which varies between 400-500 ft along SR 515.
