Abstract

GDOT ARCHAEOLOGICAL REPORT SHORT FORM FOR NEGATIVE FINDINGS: A Phase I Survey of the Bridge on Moore Road over White Oak Tributary, Coweta County, Georgia. Prime Consultant: New South Associates; County(ies): Coweta County, USGS Quadrangle(s): Sharpsburg, GA Project Description: The current project surveyed the aera surrounding the bridge on Moore Road over White Oak Tributary. The object of tote survey was to identify any archaeological fesourcesiocated with-in the area of potential effect (APE).One transect was walked on either side of Moore Road along the proposed ROW. Area of Potential Effect: The APE for the project consisted of a corridor approximately 120 feet wide from the project begin point, approximately 750 feet south of the existing bridge, to the project end point, approximately 650 feet north of the existing bridge.
