Abstract

DOT Archaeological Report Short Form for Negative Findings: Addendum to Phase I Archaeological Survey of Eleven Traffic Signal Design Project Areas in Stephens and Habersham Counties, Georgia. Prime Consultant: Day Wilburn Associates, Inc.; County(ies): Stephens and Habersham; USGS Quadrangle(s): Toccoa, Clarkesville Project Description: The project consists of reconstructing the existing signalization at two intersection locations in the town of Clarkesville, Habersham County, and nine intersection locations in the town of Toccoa, Stephens County. Signs, poles, signal spans, signal heads, controller cabinets, communication and pedestrian features would be included. See attached sheet for project changes-ROW is now required at three intersections, 5, 6, and 10. Area of Potential Effect: The APE for the proposed project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing and required right-of-way as described on the attached sheet.
