Abstract

R. S. Webb and Associates (RSWA) will conduct Phase II testing of potentially eligible sites that complies with State and Federal guidelines governing the identification, delineation and assessment of cultural resources. The purpose of archeological testing is to assess the archeological significance of the five sites using criteria set for the National Register of Historic Places (36 CFR 60.4) and to advise the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers if a significant cultural resource(s) will be adversely affected by the development project (36 CFR Part 800). The Phase II testing will meet the requirements for work conducted on Federal Lands under the 1979 Archeological Resource Protection Act.
