Abstract

Following the submission of the report on the Cultural Resources Survey of the Proposed Scenic Square Substation and Transmission Line in Gwinnett County, comments were received by the Oglethorpe Power Corporation from the State Historic Preservation Office regarding the determination of National Register of Historic Places eligibility on one structure, Structure 5, the Peevy House #2. A request for additional information and photographs on two structures, Structure 1, the Aikens House, and Structure 2, the Wells House was also made. To address these concerns, a site visit to the proposed project area was performed by Charles Wilson of the Oglethorpe Power Corporation and Constance Malone. The purpose of this addendum is to correct the initial assessment of Structure 5, and to provide further written and pictorial clarification on the eligibility of Structures 1 and 2.
