Abstract

Original Project Description: The proposed improvements, which consist of widening the road from the existing two lanes to a four lane divided highway, begin at the I20/Wheeler Road interchange and continue north to the intersection at Washington Road (SR 104). Project changes since the approved FONSI: 1. The amount of require right-of-way and. easement has changed. a. Right-of-way has increased from approximately 8.96 acres to 13.06 acres. b. Permanent Easement has increased from 0.09 acre to 2.3 acres. c. The proposed project would no longer require any temporary easement. The FONSI stated that 3.48 acres of temporary easement would be required. 2. The project limits have changed. a. The project length has increased approximately 375 feet at the beginning of the project. The project length along Flowing Wells Road has increased from approximately 8,478 feet (1.66 miles) to approximately 8,853 feet (1.68 miles). b. The project length along Wellsbo Court has increased from approximately 295 feet to 464 feet. 3. There is a new sediment basin proposed at the northwest quadrant of August Prepatory Drive and Flowing Wells Road.
