Abstract

An archaeological survey was conducted at two small irrigation structures within the Little Creek Watershed in Wheeler County, Georgia, The total area surveyed was 12 hectares (29 acres). The field work, which entailed both surface and subsurface inspection, required three man days to complete. No prehistoric or historic sites were discovered. It is concluded that the proposed structures can be built without adversely affecting any cultural resources.
