Abstract

This project investigated the proposed Newnan Bypass between Turkey Creek Road to SR 16, south of Newnan, in Coweta County, Georgia. The Georgia Department of Transportation plans on creating over two miles of new alignment length and access corridors with a variable right-of-way, averaging 250 feet in width for the existing Newnan Bypass. Transects were placed along the length of the corridor and along access corridors.
