The existing southern terminus of Jimmy DeLoach Parkway forms an at-grade T intersection with US 80. The intersection of US 80 and Jimmy DeLoach Parkway will be signalized with the Jimmy DeLoach Phase II extension project. The proposed project, STP-0007-00(259) would replace this at-grade signalized intersection with a grade separated, limited access interchange. The proposed project would allow for a continuous, limited access travel on Jimmy DeLoach Parkway over US 80. The project would include an additional alignment alternative for Osteen Road and US 80/SR 26. This alternative would create a straighter alignment to US 80/SR 26 and create a new intersection west of the existing intersection of Jimmy DeLoach Parkway and US 80/SR 26.
