The proposed project would provide a pedestrian-oriented transportation corridor that will promote the use of pedestrian facilities and economic revitalization in the downtown section of Glennville, Georgia. Dilapidated and damaged sidewalks are prevalent; street lights are not pedestrian friendly, and overhead electrical wiring is unsightly. The project will repair and/or replace damaged sidewalks, install new lighting, and provide landscaping to improve the aesthetics of the downtown area.
