Cultural Resources Survey, Erwin Exchange, Banks and Stephens Counties, Georgia

This survey covered 105 acres on three tracts in Compartments 201 and 203 in adjacent parts of the two counties. It was conducted in late December 1982. One prehistoric and two recent historic sites were found on the National Forest. All three sites were heavily disturbed by previous farming, logging or clearing activities. Clearance for the proposed land exchange is recommended.
