Abstract

Proposed project would reconstruct and widen S.R. 24/U.S. 441 beginning at a point approximately 380 feet south of the Little River then extending northerly to a point approximately 800 feet north of Cay Drive. The intersection of Cay Drive and S.R. 24/U.S. 441 will be relocated approximately 140 feet north of existing location. In addition, the existing bridge structures at Little River and Beaver Dam Creek will be widened. Existing right-of-way varies from 130 feet to 220 feet. No additional right-of-way will be required. The entire 1.47 mile length of the project corridor was surveyed. No significant archaeological resources were located within the proposed project corridor as described in paragraph two above.
