The proposed project would reconstruct the intersection of State Route 61 with Old Alabama Road and Carnes Road in Bartow County. Proposed construction would provide a left and right turn lane on SR 61 onto Old Alabama Road and a northbound right turn lane will be provided on Old Alabama Road onto SR 61. A left turn lane onto Carnes Road and a right turn lane from Carnes Road onto SR 61 would be provided. Carnes Road would also be widened from 17 feet to 24 feet. Existing right-of-way on SR 61 and Old Alabama Road is 100 feet and is 60 feet on Carnes Road. The additional right-of-way required would be 15 feet on the south side of Carnes Road and 10 feet on the north side. The total project length combined for all three roads is approximately 1700 feet.
