The dock construction on the Ogeechee River at Hardwicke Estates, Bryan County will not affect any archaeological sites. However, it should be noted that just northeast of the dock site is Seven Mile Bend, the location of extensive prehistoric occupation as well as the historic site of Hardwick. Therefore, any future construction in the area should be carefully checked.
