Abstract

On September 9,1977, the author conducted an archaeological survey of an area to be affected by expansion of an existing sewage treatment facility located approximately 2.5 miles (4.02 km) southeast of Statesboro, Georgia. The project is being planned for the City of Statesboro by Hussey, Gay, and Bell Consulting Engineers of Savannah, Georgia. It was at the request of the Hussey, Gay and Bell firm that this survey was conducted.
