Abstract

A Phase I archeological survey of the proposed 60-acre Plymart facility in Upson County, Georgia was conducted in order to locate and identify archeological resources within the project area and to assess resource significance. The project area covers approximately 24.3-hectares (ha) [60-acres (ac)] and is located north of Highway 36, east of the city of Thomaston, Georgia, in the central portion of Upson County, Georgia. No archeological resources were recorded as a result of this study. Archeological clearance to proceed with implementation of the 60-acre Plymart facility is recommended.
