As concerns the location of 74 from 1-85 south to Tyrone, Ga., it is recommended that Line "A" or Line "B" be used, as Line "C" contained the most sites of historic and prehistoric significance. If Line "C" is chosen, the sites 1 and 5 should be investigated by archaeological personnel. For the stretch of Hwy 74 from Tyrone to Peachtree City, the route as proposed should be feasible. The one site (site 4) located on this route, does not appear to be significant enough to warrant investigation.
