Abstract

The proposed project would consist of upgrading the existing traffic signal installations archeologically surveyed in May of 2007. Pedestrian accommodations, including crosswalks and crossing indicators, will be provided at each intersection. In 2010 very minor modifications were proposed to some intersections, requiring a reevaluation of the project. 1. State Route 27/Railroad Street @ State Route 30 eastbound: additional ROW now required at all but the SE quadrant (commercial area) 2. State Route 27/Railroad Street @ State Route 30 westbound: additional easement now required at the NE quadrant; additional ROW now required at the SE quadrant (commercial area) City of Jacksonville, Telfair County: 3. State Route 31 @ State Route 117/River Road: additional ROW now required at SE and NW quadrants (commercial area) City of Ailey, Montgomery County: 4. State Route 30/College Avenue @ Broad Street: additional ROW now required at all quadrants (residential neighborhood) City of Alamo, Wheeler County: 5. State Route 30 @ State Route 126/Commerce Street: easement now required at the NW quadrant (commercial area).
