Abstract

In September 2001, New South Associates began an archaeological assessment and survey of the proposed M & R station for Southern Natural Gas Company (SNG). The project consisted of a survey corridor located on the northeast corner of the intersection of a gas pipeline and Looper Bridge Road in Whitfield county, Georgia. The survey area is 150'x425' and is located on the side slope of a highly eroded finger ridge.
