Abstract

Eight hectares of floodplain of the Ocmulgee River was surveyed for significant cultural resources prior to the development of a river front park. Survey methods involved documentary research, subsurface testing, and surface reconnaissance. No prehistoric or historic sites were located. The development of a river front park will not impact any cultural resources.
