Abstract

Beaverdam Creek Mound and Village (9Eb85) is located along the northern side of Beaverdam Creek approximately 0.8 km from its confluence with the Savannah River (Figure 1). The site consists of a small, badly vandalized Savannah II Period mound and a village area covering some 15,000 m2. The village has both Savannah II and Lamar components. The Savannah component has been radiocarbon dated to the 13th Century A.D. The Lamar component.
