Abstract

An intensive archaeological reconnaissance survey was conducted on January 14 through 15 for the proposed South Augusta Recreation Complex in Richmond County, Georgia. The survey located three archaeological sites. Sites 9RI205, 9RI1062 and 9RI1063 were evaluated and recommended as not eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. No further archaeological investigation is recommended.
