The proposed project consists of the emergency replacement of an existing culvert in southeastern Cherokee County, Georgia (Figure 1 ). The culvert was damaged during severe rainfall in September 2009. The culvert is located at the Arnold Mill Road crossing over an unnamed tributary of the Little River, east of the intersection with North Arnold Mill Road. The culvert pipe was replaced between the culvert headwalls, the existing headwalls were retained. The Arnold Mill Road culvert replacement occurred within the 50-foot wide existing right-of-way and extended along Arnold Mill Road 110 feet.
