The proposed project consists of intersection upgrades at various intersections along US 41/SR 3, SR 156, and SR 136 in Calhoun, Georgia. This project was previously surveyed by GDOT Archeologist Terri Lotti on 8/2/01, with concurrence received on 8/21101. The signalization improvements will be made at the following intersections: US 41 @Piedmont Street, Hicks Street, and the SR 53 Spur. Additional signalization improvements are proposed for the intersections of SR 136 Connector with SR 156/Line Street, SR 53 Spur/River Street, and River Street with Oothcaloga Street. The afore mentioned project will remain the same except for the following signalization improvement changes: US 41 @ S. Court Street, E. Line Street/W. Line Street, and SR 156; SR 156 @ College Street; SR 136 Connector @ SR 53 Spur (Court Street). No additional right-of-way will be required.
