This report contains the results of archaeological testing of the Highway 5 Site located during archaeological survey of a proposed pipeline for the Atlanta Gas Light Company. This project was conducted by Garrow & Associates for Atlanta Gas Light Company using a crew of four persons for five days.

The primary goal of the testing project was to assess the condition of the Highway 5 Site and to determine its significance vis a vis National Register of Historic Places criterion. Was the site likely to produce important scientific information upon further excavation?
