A cultural resources survey was conducted on a 40-acre tract of National Forest proposed for exchange. The parcel was an old Resettlement Administration tract, just off Georgia 16, 5 miles east of Monticello. Pedestrian survey with shovel tests found two badly disturbed 20th Century house sites, neither of which contained enough data to warrant further investigation. Cultural resources clearance is recommended for this land exchange.
