New South Associates completed a Phase I Archaeological Survey at the request of Croy Engineering as part of an encroachment permit needed for development of the future Outlet Shoppes of Atlanta. The developer requires additional footage along the 1-575 right-of-way for grading of his parcel as well as to add a right turn only lane on Ridgewalk Parkway eastbound from the 1-575 northbound exit ramp (currently under construction) to the driveway of his development. This project falls within the limits of a previous archaeological survey conducted under GDOT Project CSNHS-0006-00(043) PI No. 0006043 (Gantt 2006). No archaeological sites were encountered and the undertaking was allowed to proceed.
