The proposed projects would provide sidewalk improvements to several corridors in Monticello outlined below. The project would also provide gateway signs at 2 intersections: 1) Maddux Stat College St; and, 2) Funderburg Dr at MLK Jr Dr. The project would also construct 2 pedestrian pocket parks at the Community Center and Hillsboro Street Extension. The project would re-construct curb & gutter drainage, add new and/or widened sidewalks, various signage, lighting, handicap access improvements, bicycle parking racks, and street furniture such as benches and trash receptacles.
